For anyone on PlayStation, I had the same problem when Lucia was frozen where I tried to adopt her and sent her to Goldenhill. Picked it up to give to one of my kids. Kept on going, stumbled on the Goldenhill Plantation. Went through the quest, but now it wants me to pick up the sword...that I already have picked up. It also says return the sword to the farm - and I went in and out of the farm house a few time screwing my auto saves trying to get it to trigger..
